Sustainability
On the Farm and in the Studio
At Jenny’s Garden, we strive for sustainability. By implementing regenerative farming practices and systems that are organic, water-wise, environmentally safe, and biologically friendly and that also are welcoming and supportive of the bio-diversity within the soil and in the garden, we are able to create a little sanctuary for the other living things on the farm as well as growing gorgeous flowers for our clients to enjoy.
In the Studio we utilize only sustainable mechanics such as re-useable flower frogs and chicken wire to achieve the designs that we desire. We are flower- foam free.
Our designs are in the garden-style and have elements of the wild in them. We love to incorporate materials foraged from the wild places around the farm to add unique textures that celebrate the freeness of nature.
Our Guiding Beliefs
At Jenny’s Garden we love and celebrate nature’s beauty and believe that beauty is incredibly healing to the human spirit.
We love flowers and feel that they are an amazing way to bring the beauty of nature to our clients’ homes, offices, celebrations and events.
We believe that nature and the environment, with all of its living systems and beings that share this earth with us, are precious.
While growing flowers, we seek to be good stewards of the land and to obtain and maintain a balanced system that is supportive to the bio- diversity of the environment.
We believe that offering locally grown and chemical-free specialty cut-flowers is a superior product in terms of freshness, environmental health, human health, a much reduced carbon footprint, and supportive to our local economy, overall, a far better alternative to the flowers that are grown, boxed and flown in from other countries, loaded with chemicals, and out of water for several days, in most cases.
We believe in taking good care of our selves as well as our garden.
