I am the owner, operator, designer and dreamer of Jenny’s Garden.
My favorite place to be is in the garden or in my studio creating with flowers, The diversity in nature and in the garden feed both my curiosity and my spirit. It is my passion is to grow beautiful, seasonal, specialty cut-flowers following the rhythms of nature and to share that beauty and wonder with my community through my garden-style designs. I am very much following in my Mom’s footsteps, as she was a talented and skilled floral designer and was similarly passionate about the beauty of nature. I worked along side her for many holidays in her shop bustling to fill Valentine’s bouquets orders, and gift baskets. With her I learned to make Christmas wreaths and garlands, how to make a bow, and so many other things. This gave me a solid foundation in floristry skills, and working with flowers helps me to feel close to her, which I cherish. The gardening interest turned to a larger scale and became farming in 2018. This was all my own though, as I prefer working with fresh, chemical-free and locally grown flowers. It is a special relationship and a fascinating process to nurture a seed or a young plant through its life cycle to flowering. To then share the flowers and to see the wonder in the faces of my clients. It brings me so much joy!
